Service Availability Policy
Explains current country and product availability and service limitations.
1. Scope
This Service Availability Policy explains:
- Where Dear Future services are offered;
- How destination availability is determined;
- Why a Letter or Call may be unavailable;
- How availability is checked before and after purchase;
- What happens if a supported destination later becomes unavailable;
- How temporary restrictions are handled;
- Which provider and legal limitations may apply; and
- Which remedies may be available where Dear Future cannot complete an Order.
This Policy applies to:
- Physical Letters;
- Prerecorded Calls;
- Secure online listening connected to Calls;
- Future delivery methods that refer to this Policy; and
- Related storage and delivery services.
This Policy supplements:
- The Global Terms and Conditions;
- The Global Privacy Policy;
- The Recipient Privacy Notice;
- The Letter Service Terms;
- The Call Service Terms;
- The Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy;
- The Acceptable Use Policy; and
- Applicable regional supplements.
2. International service
Dear Future offers services internationally.
This does not mean that:
-
Every product is available in every country;
-
Every delivery method is available in every country;
-
Every address can be served;
-
Every telephone number can be called;
-
A currently supported country will remain supported permanently;
-
Technical availability means the service is legally approved; or
-
A provider’s general marketing statement guarantees delivery of a particular Order.
Current availability is determined according to this Policy.
3. Authoritative availability information
The authoritative availability information for a new Order is:
- The countries and destinations shown as available during checkout;
- The product and number or address options shown for that destination;
- Any restriction displayed before payment; and
- The final validation performed when the Order is submitted.
A general statement elsewhere on the website does not override a more specific restriction
shown during checkout.
A destination not displayed as available must be treated as unavailable, even where Pingen,
Bird or another provider may technically operate there.
4. Service Availability Page
Dear Future may maintain a public Service Availability Page showing:
- Countries currently available for Letters;
- Countries currently available for Calls;
- Temporarily suspended destinations;
- Known material delays;
- Product-specific restrictions;
- Supported address or number types;
- Additional Recipient-permission requirements;
- Limited pilot markets;
- Recently changed availability; and
- The date on which the information was last reviewed.
The public page should be generated from the same controlled availability records used by
the checkout.
Where the public page and checkout differ, the checkout validation at the time of ordering
will prevail.
5. Availability categories
Dear Future may classify a destination as:
Available
The product is currently offered for qualifying addresses or telephone numbers.
Available with limitations
The product is offered subject to additional conditions, such as:
- Longer delivery estimates;
- Limited number types;
- Special address formatting;
- Additional consent evidence;
- Restricted calling hours;
- A particular Caller ID;
- Additional verification; or
- A restricted delivery method.
Temporarily unavailable
The product is normally supported but has been suspended because of a temporary
operational, legal or safety issue.
Pending legal approval
The provider may technically support the destination, but Dear Future has not yet completed
or approved the necessary legal review.
Not offered
Dear Future does not currently offer the product in that destination.
Prohibited
Dear Future is unable or unwilling to offer the product because of sanctions, law, safety,
provider restrictions or another material risk.
6. Three-stage approval
A product is available in a destination only when it passes all relevant stages.
Stage 1: Technical support
The relevant providers and Dear Future systems can technically process the Order.
Stage 2: Legal and compliance approval
Dear Future has determined that the product can be offered under the intended consent,
privacy, consumer, postal and telecommunications model.
Stage 3: Current operational activation
Dear Future has actively enabled the destination in its production checkout and delivery
systems.
Passing only one or two stages does not make the destination publicly available.
7. Internal availability controls
Dear Future should maintain separate controlled records for:
- Pingen-supported destinations;
- Pingen-restricted destinations;
- Bird-supported destinations and routes;
- Bird-restricted destinations;
- Dear Future legally approved destinations;
- Dear Future commercially activated destinations;
- Temporarily suspended destinations;
- Provider-specific restrictions;
- Required local disclosures;
- Required consent evidence;
- Number and address limitations; and
- Dates of the most recent reviews.
Only destinations that pass every applicable control should be displayed during checkout.
8. Availability at the time of ordering
Before accepting payment, Dear Future should verify:
- The selected product;
- Destination country;
- Address or telephone-number format;
- Current provider support;
- Current Dear Future approval;
- Current suspension status;
- Recipient-permission requirements;
- Selected Delivery Date;
- Applicable delivery window;
- Caller-ID availability for a Call;
- Postal-route availability for a Letter; and
- Other material restrictions.
An Order should not be accepted merely because the visitor manually enters a country
name or international prefix.
9. Letter availability
A Letter may be offered only where:
- Pingen or an approved replacement provider supports the destination;
- The destination is not listed as restricted;
- The address can be entered in a supported format;
- The postal route is operating;
- Dear Future has approved the destination;
- The Letter complies with provider requirements;
- No applicable sanctions or legal restriction prevents delivery; and
- The destination is enabled during checkout.
Pingen’s accepted country-name list is primarily an address-processing list. The presence of
a country in that list does not override a current delivery restriction.
10. Letter address requirements
Letter availability may depend on whether the Customer can provide an address satisfying
the requirements of the destination and postal route.
Requirements may concern:
- Recipient name;
- Street and house number;
- Apartment or unit;
- Postcode;
- City or locality;
- State, province or region;
- Destination-country name;
- Language or spelling of the country;
- Number of address lines;
- Post-office boxes;
- Institutional addresses;
- Character sets; and
- Other local postal rules.
Dear Future may reject an address even where the destination country is generally
supported.
11. Destination-country formatting
For international Letters, the destination country may need to be written:
- In an accepted language;
- As the sole entry on the final address line;
- Without an ISO country code before the postcode; and
- In the format required by the relevant postal operator.
Pingen publishes accepted country spellings and notes that merely using an ISO country
code may not be accepted.
Dear Future may standardise the country name without changing the destination selected by
the Customer.
12. Pingen postal routes
Pingen may use different postal routes according to the destination.
Pingen currently uses local postal arrangements for certain core countries. Letters to other
supported destinations may be routed through DHL and destination-country postal
operators.
This means that:
- Delivery estimates may differ by destination;
- Address rules may differ;
- Tracking availability may differ;
- Return handling may differ;
- Local carriers may change; and
- A Letter may pass through multiple countries or providers.
13. Current Pingen-restricted destinations
As of 31 July 2026, Pingen states that Letters cannot currently be sent to:
- Belarus;
- Chad;
- Cuba;
- Iran;
- Myanmar, also referred to by Pingen as Burma;
- North Korea;
- Russia;
- Sudan;
- Syria;
- Ukraine; and
- Yemen.
These restrictions may change without advance notice.
Dear Future will treat these destinations as unavailable for Letters unless and until:
- Pingen confirms that delivery has resumed;
- Dear Future completes a new legal and operational review; and
- The destination is actively re-enabled in checkout.
14. Known Letter delays
Pingen’s restriction page currently reports no general country-wide delivery delays as of 31
July 2026. This does not mean that every individual Letter will arrive without delay. Local
disruptions, weather, customs, strikes, address issues and carrier events may still affect an
individual delivery.
Dear Future may mark a country as delayed even where Pingen has not published a general
warning, where Dear Future has credible operational information indicating a material issue.
15. Call availability
A Call may be offered only where:
- Bird or an approved replacement provider supports outbound calling to the
destination; - The Recipient’s number type is supported;
- A valid originating Caller ID can be used;
- Dear Future’s intended prerecorded-Call flow is technically supported;
- The required identity-confirmation step can operate;
- Local calling hours can be respected;
- Applicable permission and consent requirements can be satisfied;
- Dear Future has approved the destination;
- No provider, carrier, sanctions or legal restriction prevents the Call; and
10.The destination is enabled during checkout.
Bird currently advertises programmable Voice coverage in more than 140 countries. That
statement describes Bird’s broad network and does not constitute a Dear Future promise
that Calls are available in every one of those countries.
16. No automatic reliance on Bird coverage
Dear Future does not treat a country as available merely because:
- Bird advertises general global coverage;
- Bird displays a price for the destination;
- A country calling code exists;
- Bird offers telephone numbers in that country;
- Another Bird product works there;
- SMS is supported there;
- An API accepts the number format; or
- A test Call appears to connect.
Voice delivery may still be restricted by:
- Destination;
- Number type;
- Originating number;
- Carrier;
- Caller-ID rules;
- Consent requirements;
- Registration;
- Content;
- Time of day;
- Recipient category; or
- Dear Future’s risk assessment.
17. Telephone-number types
Call availability may differ between:
- Mobile numbers;
- Fixed or landline numbers;
- Local numbers;
- National numbers;
- Toll-free numbers;
- Premium-rate numbers;
- Satellite numbers;
- Corporate switchboards;
- Shared numbers;
- VoIP numbers; and
- Other specialised number types.
Bird notes that number capabilities and country-specific conditions vary according to the
number type.
Dear Future may permit one number type while refusing another in the same country.
18. Mainland China
Calls to telephone numbers in mainland China are not available.
Bird states that it discontinued Call services to mainland China and does not support
outbound Call service to Chinese numbers under the relevant restrictions.
Dear Future will not accept such Orders unless the provider situation and applicable rules
materially change and Dear Future affirmatively reapproves the destination.
Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan must be reviewed separately and must not be treated as
available merely because they use distinct calling codes or telecommunications systems.
19. Caller-ID availability
A Call may be unavailable where Dear Future cannot provide a compliant and technically
accepted Caller ID.
Availability may depend on:
- Whether Bird accepts the originating number;
- Whether the originating number has been verified;
- Whether the destination permits international Caller ID;
- Whether a local number is required;
- Whether the number must be registered;
- Whether the carrier modifies the displayed number;
- Whether the caller name can be displayed; and
- Whether the route is likely to be blocked.
Bird requires non-Bird numbers used for outbound Caller ID to be verified in the relevant Bird
account.
Dear Future may change the Caller ID or provider where reasonably necessary.
20. Consent and Call availability
Technical availability does not override consent requirements.
Dear Future may make Calls available only where the applicable permission model can be
satisfied.
A destination may require:
- Direct Recipient consent;
- Express consent;
- Written consent;
- Electronically attributable consent;
- Identification of Dear Future;
- Identification of the purpose;
- Disclosure of the prerecorded nature of the Call;
- A documented opt-in;
- A particular opt-out process;
- Suppression-list checks;
- Limited calling hours;
- Registration; or
- Additional evidence.
Dear Future may require stricter permission than the minimum required by local law.
21. Personal Calls only
The standard Call service is intended for personal, non-marketing Messages.
A country being available for personal Calls does not mean that it is available for:
- Marketing;
- Advertising;
- Fundraising;
- Political messages;
- Commercial campaigns;
- Surveys;
- Debt collection;
- Organisational outreach;
- Bulk Calls; or
- Other automated communications.
Those uses require separate written approval and country-specific legal review.
22. Institutional and sensitive destinations
Dear Future may refuse or restrict delivery to:
- Hospitals;
- Care homes;
- Prisons;
- Schools;
- Shelters;
- Military facilities;
- Government institutions;
- Emergency facilities;
- Workplaces;
- Shared residential addresses;
- Shared telephone lines;
- Hotel rooms;
- Temporary accommodation; or
- Another location where unintended access is likely.
General country availability does not guarantee acceptance of every individual destination.
23. Sanctions and trade restrictions
Dear Future may restrict a country, person, organisation, address, payment or delivery route
where necessary to comply with:
-
Belgian law;
-
European Union sanctions;
-
United Nations measures;
-
Provider restrictions;
-
Payment-provider restrictions;
-
Postal restrictions;
-
Telecommunications restrictions; or
-
Other applicable laws.
A country may be generally available while a specific Customer, Recipient, entity or
transaction is unavailable.
Dear Future may request additional information where reasonably necessary to complete a
sanctions or restricted-party review.
24. Conflict and emergency restrictions
Dear Future may suspend a destination affected by:
- War;
- Armed conflict;
- Civil unrest;
- Government collapse;
- Postal-system failure;
- Telecommunications interruption;
- Natural disaster;
- Widespread cyberattack;
- Emergency legislation;
- Evacuation;
- Border closure;
- Carrier suspension; or
- A comparable event.
Dear Future does not need to wait for Pingen or Bird to publish a formal suspension where
credible information indicates that continued acceptance would be unsafe or misleading.
25. Provider status and outages
A provider may experience:
- Temporary outage;
- Partial outage;
- Route degradation;
- API failure;
- Capacity limits;
- Carrier rejection;
- Postal backlog;
- Security incident;
- Maintenance;
- Regional infrastructure failure; or
- A regulatory suspension.
Dear Future may respond by:
- Pausing new Orders;
- Rescheduling delivery;
- Using another route;
- Replacing the provider;
- Restricting the destination;
- Offering an alternative; or
- Cancelling affected Orders.
26. Availability does not guarantee delivery
Showing a country as available means that Dear Future is prepared to accept qualifying
Orders under the conditions shown at that time.
It does not guarantee:
- Exact-date delivery;
- Postal receipt;
- Call connection;
- Recipient availability;
- Recipient identity;
- Recipient willingness to listen;
- Carrier acceptance;
- Email receipt;
- Absence of delay;
- Permanent provider support; or
- A particular emotional outcome.
The Letter Service Terms and Call Service Terms contain the applicable delivery limitations.
27. Availability at the future Delivery Date
Because an Order may remain pending for up to ten years, Dear Future will reassess
availability before performance.
A second validation may consider:
-
Current provider support;
-
Current destination restrictions;
-
Current address or number format;
-
Current Caller-ID requirements;
-
Current sanctions;
-
Current legal restrictions;
-
Current Delivery Details;
-
Current Recipient objection status;
-
Current no-contact status; and
-
Current safety conditions.
An Order accepted years earlier does not override a later legal prohibition or provider
restriction.
28. Customer updates
The Customer must update Dear Future where they learn that:
- The Recipient moved;
- The address changed;
- The telephone number changed;
- The number was reassigned;
- The email address changed;
- The country changed;
- The time zone changed;
- The Recipient withdrew permission;
- A contact restriction arose;
- The Recipient died;
- The destination became inappropriate; or
- Another material circumstance changed.
Dear Future may send reminders, but the Customer remains responsible for information
within the Customer’s knowledge.
29. Revalidation of Delivery Details
Dear Future may ask the Customer to reconfirm Delivery Details before the Delivery Date.
Reconfirmation may be required where:
- Several years have passed;
- Provider requirements changed;
- The address fails a new validation rule;
- The telephone number appears invalid;
- A destination became restricted and later reopened;
- The original country is no longer offered;
- A complaint was received; or
- Further permission evidence is reasonably required.
Failure to respond may delay or prevent delivery.
30. Changes after purchase
Where a destination becomes unavailable after Order Acceptance, Dear Future will assess:
-
Whether the issue is temporary;
-
Expected duration;
-
Time remaining before the Delivery Date;
-
Availability of another provider;
-
Availability of another route;
-
Customer and Recipient location;
-
Legal and safety requirements;
-
Whether Delivery Details can be changed; and
-
Whether an equivalent service can be offered.
Dear Future will not continue with a prohibited or materially unsafe route merely because
payment was previously accepted.
31. Temporary unavailability
Where Dear Future reasonably expects availability to return, it may:
- Pause the Order;
- Postpone preparation;
- Move the delivery within a reasonable period;
- Ask the Customer to wait;
- Ask for alternative Delivery Details;
- Use another provider;
- Offer secure online delivery; or
- Offer cancellation.
A postponement must remain reasonable in light of:
- The purpose of the Message;
- The selected Delivery Date;
- The anticipated disruption;
- Mandatory consumer rights; and
- The Customer’s instructions.
32. Alternative destination
The Customer may be invited to provide:
- A new postal address;
- A different country;
- A new telephone number;
- A different email address; or
- Another supported destination.
Dear Future may require:
-
Identity verification;
-
Renewed Recipient confirmation;
-
A new Recipient Privacy Notice;
-
Additional consent;
-
A price adjustment;
-
A new time zone; and
-
Revalidation of the destination.
Dear Future may refuse an alternative that changes the intended Recipient.
33. Alternative delivery method
Where the purchased method becomes unavailable, Dear Future may offer:
- Earlier physical delivery;
- A different postal provider;
- A Call instead of a Letter;
- A Letter instead of a Call;
- Secure online listening;
- Secure digital export;
- Delivery to the Customer;
- Delivery to an authorised representative; or
- Another reasonably equivalent method.
The Customer’s agreement will be requested where the alternative materially changes the
purchased service.
Dear Future will not unilaterally expose private Content through a materially less secure
method.
34. Provider replacement
Dear Future may replace Pingen, Bird or another provider where:
- Coverage changes;
- Service is discontinued;
- Reliability becomes unacceptable;
- A security issue arises;
- Legal requirements change;
- Pricing makes continued performance unreasonable;
- A destination requires another route; or
- Business continuity requires replacement.
A replacement provider should be reasonably capable of performing the core service and
should be subject to appropriate privacy and security terms.
A non-material provider change does not itself create a right to cancel an otherwise
equivalent service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
35. Price differences after a Customer-requested
change
Where the Customer voluntarily changes to a destination or product with higher costs, Dear
Future may require payment of a disclosed difference.
Where the replacement is necessary because Dear Future can no longer provide the original
service for reasons not caused by the Customer, Dear Future will not impose an
unreasonable surcharge merely to preserve the core service.
A lower-cost alternative may result in:
- A partial Refund;
- Account credit where voluntarily accepted;
- Another agreed adjustment; or
- No adjustment where the difference is immaterial and legally permitted.
36. Cancellation and Refunds
Where Dear Future cannot perform the original Order, it may offer:
- A reasonable equivalent service;
- A new date;
- A new destination;
- Early delivery;
- Secure export;
- Partial Refund;
- Full Refund; or
- Another legally appropriate remedy.
A full or partial Refund will depend on:
- Why the destination became unavailable;
- Whether an equivalent service is available;
- Whether the Customer accepts the alternative;
- Work already performed;
- Storage already supplied;
- Provider costs;
- Dear Future’s responsibility;
- Applicable product terms; and
- Mandatory consumer rights.
The Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy provides further details.
37. Customer-caused unavailability
A Refund is not normally due after the fourteen-day cancellation period where delivery
becomes unavailable because:
- The Customer entered the wrong country;
- The Customer supplied an invalid address;
- The Customer supplied an unsupported number type;
- The Customer failed to update Delivery Details;
- The Customer lacked Recipient permission;
- The Recipient withdrew permission;
- A no-contact restriction applies;
- The Customer requested an unsupported change;
- The Customer violated the Acceptable Use Policy; or
- Another Customer act or omission caused the issue.
This does not override mandatory legal rights.
38. Dear Future error
Where Dear Future accepts an Order for a destination that was already unavailable and
Dear Future should reasonably have prevented acceptance, Dear Future may provide:
- Correction;
- Alternative performance;
- Full Refund;
- Partial Refund;
- Credit where voluntarily accepted; or
- Another required remedy.
Dear Future should not rely on this Policy to retain payment for a service it knew or should
reasonably have known it could not provide.
39. No retroactive provider guarantee
Information published by Pingen, Bird or another provider may change.
Dear Future does not guarantee that:
- A provider webpage will remain unchanged;
- A route will continue for ten years;
- Current pricing will remain available;
- Current address rules will remain unchanged;
- Current Caller-ID arrangements will remain valid;
- Current provider retention settings will remain available; or
- The same provider will complete the eventual delivery.
Dear Future will use reasonable efforts to preserve the core purpose of the Order.
40. Test Calls and test Letters
Dear Future may conduct technical tests before activating a destination.
A successful test does not by itself prove:
- General legal compliance;
- Support for every carrier;
- Support for every number type;
- Support for every address;
- Long-term reliability;
- Recipient consent;
- Absence of spam classification; or
- Permanent availability.
A destination should not be activated until the relevant operational and legal controls are
complete.
41. Pilot availability
Dear Future may initially offer a product in a limited pilot market.
A pilot may include:
- Limited Customers;
- Limited countries;
- Limited number types;
- Limited delivery dates;
- Manual approval;
- Additional evidence requirements;
- Lower Order limits; or
- Temporary suspension rights.
Pilot status will be disclosed before purchase where it materially affects the Customer.
42. Languages
Service availability does not guarantee that every part of the service is available in every
language.
Dear Future may limit:
-
Checkout language;
-
Call introduction language;
-
Recipient Privacy Notice translations;
-
Customer support language;
-
Address validation;
-
Automated emails; and
-
Legal-document translations.
The Customer must select a language that the Recipient can reasonably understand where
required for informed permission or Call operation.
43. Accessibility
A destination or product may require a different delivery flow to accommodate:
- Hearing impairment;
- Visual impairment;
- Motor impairment;
- Difficulty using telephone keypads;
- Language needs;
- Assistive technology; or
- Another accessibility requirement.
Dear Future may offer:
- An alternative Confirmation Step;
- Secure online delivery;
- A physical Letter;
- Additional instructions;
- Another supported format; or
- Cancellation.
Dear Future is not required to use an alternative that would materially compromise privacy,
security or legal compliance.
44. Recipient roaming and travel
Call availability is based primarily on:
- The telephone number;
- Destination-country routing;
- Provided time zone; and
- Available carrier information.
Dear Future may not know where the Recipient is physically located when a Call is placed.
A Call to a supported number may:
- Reach a Recipient abroad;
- Incur roaming charges;
- Arrive during an unexpected local time;
- Be blocked while roaming; or
- Use a foreign network.
The Customer must provide an appropriate time zone and update it where necessary.
45. Email fallback availability
Secure online listening or rescheduling depends on:
- A valid Recipient email address;
- Resend or another email provider;
- Recipient mailbox availability;
- Spam filtering;
- Secure-link functionality;
- Supported browser access; and
- The absence of an objection or legal restriction.
The availability of a Call does not guarantee that the fallback email will be delivered or
opened.
46. Online listening availability
Secure online listening may be unavailable where:
- Access presents a security risk;
- The Recipient cannot be verified;
- The Message has expired;
- A complaint exists;
- Permission was withdrawn;
- The Order was cancelled;
- A legal restriction applies;
- The browser or region is unsupported; or
- The link has been revoked.
Dear Future may offer another appropriate delivery or export option.
47. Privacy and availability checks
Dear Future may process limited information to determine availability, including:
- Destination country;
- Postal address;
- Telephone-number prefix;
- Number type;
- Time zone;
- Provider status;
- Recipient email domain;
- Sanctions indicators;
- Order status; and
- Applicable permission evidence.
Availability checks must not use private Message content for advertising or general profiling.
48. Automated decisions
Dear Future may automatically:
- Hide unavailable countries;
- Reject invalid country codes;
- Reject unsupported number types;
- Flag address-format errors;
- Prevent prohibited Delivery Dates;
- Suspend a destination;
- Prevent Pingen submission;
- Prevent Bird submission; or
- Request manual review.
A Customer may contact Dear Future where they believe an availability decision was caused
by an error.
Dear Future may manually review the destination without promising that it will be activated.
49. Manual exceptions
Dear Future may approve an individual exception where:
- The provider confirms support;
- Applicable law permits the service;
- Necessary consent exists;
- A compliant route is available;
- The security risk is acceptable; and
- The exception is operationally reasonable.
Dear Future is not obliged to approve an exception.
An exception for one Order does not make the destination generally available.
50. Publication of changes
Dear Future may update availability without individually notifying every website visitor.
Material changes affecting an existing paid Order will be communicated to the Customer
where reasonably possible.
The notice may explain:
-
What changed;
-
Which Order is affected;
-
Whether delivery is paused;
-
Available alternatives;
-
Any action required;
-
Response deadline; and
-
Available cancellation or Refund options.
51. Emergency suspension without notice
Dear Future may immediately suspend a destination without advance notice where
necessary because of:
- Sanctions;
- War;
- Legal prohibition;
- Serious security incident;
- Provider termination;
- Widespread fraud;
- Credible safety risk;
- Telecommunications intervention;
- Postal suspension; or
- Another urgent event.
Advance notice is not required where giving notice would be impossible, unlawful or
materially increase risk.
52. Reopening a destination
A suspended destination will not automatically reopen merely because a provider resumes
technical service.
Dear Future may first require:
- Provider confirmation;
- Route testing;
- Legal review;
- Security review;
- Updated terms;
- New consent wording;
- Updated pricing;
- Updated delivery estimates;
- Staff approval; and
- Checkout reactivation.
Existing affected Orders may be handled separately from new Orders.
53. Availability records
Dear Future should record:
- Destination status;
- Product status;
- Effective date;
- Source of the restriction;
- Reason category;
- Provider evidence;
- Legal-review status;
- Approving person;
- Date of next review;
- Checkout activation status; and
- Existing Orders affected.
Historical versions should be retained for a reasonable period to demonstrate what was
available when an Order was accepted.
54. Provider monitoring
Dear Future should review, at reasonable intervals:
- Pingen restrictions;
- Pingen postal notices;
- Bird coverage;
- Bird country restrictions;
- Caller-ID requirements;
- Provider incidents;
- Sanctions changes;
- Telecommunications developments;
- Postal suspensions;
- Delivery-failure rates; and
- Recipient complaints.
The review frequency may increase during:
- War;
- Major disruption;
- Regulatory change;
- Provider migration;
- Service launch; or
- A pattern of delivery failures.
55. Customer support
Questions about destination availability may be sent to:
info@dearfuture.ink
The Customer should provide:
- Desired product;
- Destination country;
- Address or number type;
- Intended Delivery Date;
- Whether the Message is for themselves or someone else; and
- Any known special circumstances.
Customers should not send private Message content merely to ask whether a destination is
available.
56. No obligation to explain confidential restrictions
Dear Future may be unable to disclose every detail behind an availability decision where the
information concerns:
- Provider security;
- Fraud controls;
- Confidential carrier terms;
- Sanctions screening;
- Legal advice;
- Abuse prevention;
- Another person’s privacy; or
- A confidential investigation.
Dear Future may provide a general reason category instead.
57. Changes to this Policy
Dear Future may update this Policy to reflect:
- Provider changes;
- New products;
- New countries;
- Suspended countries;
- Legal developments;
- Postal changes;
- Telecommunications changes;
- Sanctions;
- Security improvements; or
- Operational experience.
The current version will show its effective date and version number.
The version applying when an Order was accepted will be recorded, but current law and
unavoidable current delivery restrictions may still affect later performance.
